Description:   Structure materials: Limestone. Material size: 0.15L 0.10W 0.10H. Material finish: unworked. Material construction: random coursed. Material bonding: mud.
Notes:   At the time of discovery only one course is visible but larger rocks perhaps associated with 347 are visible in the scarp of B71(07 excav). This (347) wall is peculiar in its relation to 334 and 335. While it sits in the corner created by their W and S faces, 347 is of much smaller unworked stones and does not seem to bond to either if the other walls. A few stones visible in the scarp of B71 may suggest a connection between 335 and 347 but more excavation is necessary.
Unusual is the placing of stones upright on the S face of wall 335 just where this cobble stone wall (347) occurs. 335 and 347 both appear to have very large stones beneath them. We may have a stair case or some partial reconstruction of 335 to serve some other purpose; perhaps a shelf.
G.S. points out that the large stones visible in B71 may be associated with those visible at the bottom of B193 to the east (2007 excav.). If this is the case 335 and 347 are separate.
