Notes:   6878 consisted of removing backfill from a pithos pit in th esouthwest portion of Room B. The pit was filled c. 2006 according to Guy Sanders (Director). Only pottery was saved, no sieving. We found a stamped Roman right foot (Ictos LI) and brought it to the museum. We stopped upon hitting a red layer of soil. Presumably the bottom of the pithos pit.
