| Notes: | 7017 is a tile stack bonded with clay and abutting wall 6821 to the east. 7017 shows evidence of burning activity. The tiles themselves are not burnt, but the soil between them shows signs of extreme heat. We are excavating to better understand the area east of wall 6821 and west of wall 6789. Excavation has revealed a soil with large inclusions of tile and charcoal that is the same soil that continues to the east. We will excavate it as a single large context (7018). | |
