| Notes: | In continuing our excavation, we excavated a further fifteen centimetres under the wall, and under the tree before closing contexts. This ashy continuation of 6988 was visible the entire width under the tree, but, as the plan of 6988 suggested, was only visible for c forty centimetres along the wall from the SW corner to the SE. It ran adjacent to 7024 after the end of 7026. On comparison in the baulk, it seemed to contain more charcoal inclusions than 7024. 7029 = 6988. | |
