Corinth Basket: Nezi Field, Post hole cut
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   Nezi Field, Post hole cut
Area:   Nezi Field
Context Type:   Pit
Title:   Post hole cut
Category:   Cut
Context:   6915
Date:   2009/04/29
Description:   The context shape in plan is circular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is gradual. The base of the cut is concave. Truncation: Trucated by cut 6191..
Notes:   Cut 6195 was discovered while excavating Deposit 6191, which we closed upon finding this and two additional post holes (cuts 6193, 6197). It was filled by deposit 6196, which itself was removed and closed. We are unsure how the post hole relates to the surface to its north. It may be associated with the surface and its stratigraphic level, but because it seems to have been truncated by cut 6199, we are still not able to determine the relationship.
