Notes:   This structure is a retaining wall built by Broneer at the northern boundary of the pebble surface (Context 329) in Room 4 Rear. It was built in the cut (Context 355) of Broneer's excavation of the Robbing Trench. We removed the upper 2-3 courses (depending on how one counts) of the wall in our area; the dimensions of the removed portion are 0.9 x 0.3 x 0.43.
Although the structure was partially excavated, no soil material was recovered.
The dimensions given are those for the structure as a whole, part of which extends to the west of our area.
