Notes:   This is the northern segment of a wall of Roman date (our "Late Wall," named when we thought it would prove Late Roman) built immediately inside and against the N-S Stoa Wall (STR 467) of the Room 3-4 boundary. Because it remains unexcavated, and its visible face only fairly clean, this description must be considered preliminary.
The visible face is roughly coursed with stones of similar sizes but different types; at least two terracotta tiles are visible as well. The stones seem to be embedded in a considerable amount of cement (?) mortar .The inner face was at least partly plastered. The upper-most preserved course rises above the preserved Stoa wall level.
The wall is bordered on the west by Context 369, the fill for its foundation trench (cf. Cut 373), and is constructed directly against the Stoa wall (STR 467).
