Notes:   the cut has two legs with different orientations: one NW-SE, the other NE-SW. this cut seems to be the same shape as the original foundation trench, but it is impossible to know because broneer excavated it.
We expect 509 to cut the majority of our contexts in the southern area of this trench.
The section provided by this cut will be useful for interpreting stratigraphy as we progress.
