Type:   Basket
Name:   Temple E, Southeast, context 849
Area:   Temple E, Southeast
Title:   Fill E side Central wall Room 8
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1109
Context:   849
Date:   2015/06/10
Lot:   Lot 2015-048
Stratum:   30% spherical and tabular sub-rounded medium pebbles. Large fragments of tile and coarse pottery. Much lower proportion of bones than shards.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silt.
Notes:   08.07: Excavation of the deposit started from the south. The slope degree is barely perceptive, but exists, mainly in the south part of the context. Soil looks very compacted, perhaps the result of the anthropic action of leveling around the walls, although this needs to be assessed later.
10.15: Excavation continues in the area. A more compact layer but clean of the large tile fragments runs below this context.
11.17: As the work approached the N wall a second layer of the tile debris appeared below the present context. It is a distinctive layer and a different throw of soil which will be recorded separately.
