Description:   An impost block with rectangular top surface. The soffit is squared at one end, curved at the other. The oblique (bevelled) ends are decorated in relief: at the rounded end, crude scanthus leaves; at the squared end, 3 7-branched candlesticks and 2 palm leaves. The decoration of the two ends appears to be contemporary.
Material:   Coarse greyish marble
Condition:   Fragment. Intact except for chips.
