Description:   Phiale with depression in center of underside, rounded bottom curving up into vertical thickened lilp, articulated by groove on exterior; projecting omphalos in floor with concave stem, convex top.
Decoration:   Exterior plain except for broad black band on exterior below lip; black dots on lip top. Interior: top of omphalos black, red, black, stem red with reserved stripe below top; on floor broad black band framed by thin black ones; reserved band divided into panels by black lines, each has dot rosette, outer black framing line; broad black band on body, red band below lip.
Material:   Fine buff clay with rare fine lime and black mudstone inclusions.

Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts., preserving complete profile: all of bottom, ca. 1/3 body to rim.
