Description:   Chytra with rounded bottom, ovoid body with greatest maximum diameter below median at 0.063. Outward flaring rim joining body with soft articulation. Prominent wheel ridges at articulation. Lip beveled inward, rim concave to flange. Flange as rounded ridge with deep, thin groove or cut where it meets the rim above; below, flange is obscured by restoration. Wheel ridges on interior. One round handle attached just below rim, rising almost vertically to almost touch rim, similar to C-47-826 (Corinth 7.3, no. 656, p. 123). Restored with second, vertical strap handle, as C-40-29 (Corinth 7.3, no. 657, p. 123-4).
Decoration:   Wheel groove encircles body below rim, with handles attached over it, as C-47-826 (Corinth 7.3, no. 656, p. 123).
Material:   Coarse red clay with frequent medium to very large tan, white, and gray spherical subrounded and angular inclusions, rare fine sparkling inclusions, and rare large to very large voids
Munsell Color:   Exterior surface: 5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow) to 5YR 4/1 (dark gray), Interior surface: 2.5YR 5/6 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., preserving half of bottom, one-third of body and rim, and most of one handle.
