Description:   Locally made red slip bowl with echinoid body, and vertical inward bevelled rim. Similar to C-1964-452 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 137); C-1962-232.
Decoration:   Red slip (2.5YR 4/8) on interior and exterior. Two grooves on rim. Tear-shaped leaves in barbotine suspend from upper groove.
Material:   Pink fabric with small brown rounded inclusions, tiny white rounded inclusions, small round voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Three joining frgts., preserving 1/4 rim. Slip well-preserved on exterior, mostly worn on interior.
Period:   2nd c. A.C.
Chronology:   first half 2nd c. CE, based on comparanda in Corinth 18.2
