Description:   Coarse red clay with numerous large white lumps; poorly fired, upper half blackened.
Board flat bottom, ovoid body with maximum diameter above median, tapering without defined neck to low flaring rim, rounded lip. No handles. Unglazed. Handmade. Surface not smoothed. underside of pot looks badly cindered, irregular impression of either something on which it was set when still wet, or when fired, pulling away outer skin of clay.
