Description:   Oinochoe with low flarign ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Ovoid body curving into high, rounded shoulder, short wide neck, trefoil rim. Attachment for handle on shoulder.
Decoration:   Exterior of foot glazed brown-black with thin reserved line at top and bottom. Widely spaced rays on lower third of body, broad glazed band with W-R-W lines at bottom and top. Animal friezes: one below handle, 2nd on shoulder. Lower: from handlre, to rt., walking goose, ruminating goat, both to rt.; lion to lt. with raised tail; bull to rt. on axis with spout, facing lion to lt. with head in profile; goat to rt. Incision for details, incised blob filling ornament. On upper frieze: ruminating goat to rt., lion to lt., bull to rt., goose to rt. Similar ornament; black square surrounding handle base. Rest glazed, continuing into mouth and neck.
Material:   Fine buff clay, pink at core.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving complete profile. Missing small fragments of body; handle wholly restored. Foot chipped.
