Description:   Flat medallion with scraped groove. Deep hemispherical profile. Outturned rim with scraped groove.
Decoration:   An idyllic scene in relief; on the medallion, six petalled rosette; on the calyx, imbricate pattern of small acanthus leaves followed by one row of lotus petals followed by one row of lotus petals with ligatures and then small swans facing left; on the wall, erotes riding goats, one eros riding a lion with a long tail, rosettes above and below in the field; on the rim, egg and dart moulding, pairs of double spirals crowned with alternating palmettes and rosettes. Black glaze up to upper wall, upper wall and rim in burgundy glaze, all well preserved. Miltos in the scrape on the rim.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with voids and few medium white and dark brown inclusions
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. 20 frgts. Preserve two-thirds of body and rim, rest restored.
