Description: | Articulated kantharos with flaring ring base. Resting surface tapered to convex underside with nipple in center. Exterior of foot has profile wheel grooved in two degrees. Biconical body with angular carination set at approx. two thirds the height of the body. Lower walls straight, inclined. Lower walls slightly convex, inclined. Tapered lip outturned. | |
Decoration: | Black glaze over all. Groove at bottom of handle zone and groove just below lip. | |
Material: | Fine very pale brown clay with few fine to small black inclusions, rare medium to very large inclusions, rare large red inclusions, and frequent fine sparkling inclusions. | |
