Description:   Cyma kantharos with a globular body articulated from an everted, tapered lip. A grooved vertical strap handle attaches at lip and upper body
Decoration:   West Slope style with vertical reeding in lower body, except under handles inscribed with an X. Two horizontal grooved bands, one at lower handle attachment level bordering reeding and one just below lip at upper handle attachment level. Black glaze all over
Writing:   inscribed. YGEIAS between horizontal grooved bands
Material:   Fine reddish-yellow clay with few fine black and rare fine sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous joining frgts., preserving 1/3 body, 1 handle with missing chip, 2/3 lip. Black glaze all over worn in parts.
