Description:   Cyma kantharos with wide body, convex lower and concave upper narrowing towards a small, everted rim.
Decoration:   West Slope style with vertical reeding on lower body bordered on top by single horizontal groove band, and double horizontal groove bands just below lip. Black glaze all over.
Writing:   inscribed. ? E between the two sets of bands
Material:   Fine very pale clay with rare fine sparkling, few fine black, rare fine to small spherical red inclusions. Few fine voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. 2 joining frgts., preserving part of rim and body. Black glaze preserved in parts. C-47-288b and C-47-288c (labeled 'c' and 'd' on object respectively) parts of the same kantharos
