Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with moulded exterior in two degrees; wide lower with convex sloping side ending in beveled edge, upper thick ring with square profile. Medium-short conical stem connected to foot by curve. Tall body with convex lower and straight upper, narrowing slightly to everted tapered lip. Vertical strap handle with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with one horizontal grooved band just below upper handle attachment level. Black glaze all over.
Material:   Fne very pale brown clay with rare fine black and sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot, stem, 1/2 body, part of lip, 1 handle. Black glaze worn.
