Description:   Wide shallow slightly convex bowl with vertical ring foot and inward thickened rim, slightly squared inturned lip.
Decoration:   Entire vessel white slipped, interior yellow-glazed with incised decoration. Incised lines filled in with brown paint. Compass drawn concentric overlapping circles with tight crosshatching in upper space between circles and edge of rim. Wavy loose crosshatching fills in hexagonal space in center of plate between lower edge of circles, with loose 8 pointed "star" shape in center of each circle. Similar to C-1959-126 and C-1937-1744.
Material:   Light reddish brown with few small tabular sub rounded inclusions, with rare medium spherical sub rounded white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/4 (light reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Six joining frgts., preserving ca. 1/4 of vessel, full base and 10% of rim. Fresh break in base center, accretions and chips throughout. Inventoried from Lot 1975-102.
