Description:   Thick walled mortarium with flat base, turning up and out to steep, flaring body. For parallels, see Hayes, Sarachane II, pp. 9-10. Heavy paring marks on body just above base.
Decoration:   On exterior, traces of pink slip remain on base and body. On interior, patches of reddish yellow glaze adhere to floor and body.
Material:   Coarse pink fabric with rare fine to coarse red and white inclusions, 1 gray.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 5YR 7/4 Slip: near 5YR 7/4 Glaze: 7.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Fragment. 1/2 base, 1/4 lower body. Glaze, slip poorly preserved.
