Description:   Plate with tall flaring stem foot with rounded resting surface. Shallow body with convex flaring profile, outturned and somewhat downturned flat rim W00.011 with round lip, undercut at juncture with body.
Decoration:   Orange-red slip over interior and exterior of plate, foot reserved.
Material:   Fine red clay with rare very fine white and red rounded inclusions, and least one sparkling; fracture rough.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 2.5YR 6/6-6/8 (where fresh) Slip: 2.5YR 5/8
Condition:   Complete profile. 23 joining frgts., complete profile: over half foot, missing floor, 3/4 body and rim. Four non-joining frgts. left in lot.
