Description:   Decanter with deeply indented concave bottom, globular body tapering into short, wide, conical neck, flaring rounded lip, slightly thickened; two vertical strap handles attached, at an angle of 60 degrees from one another, on upper shoulder and at lip. As C-47-829 (Corinth VII.iii no. 749), C-65-533 (Corinth XVIII.i no.646, pitcher with the same profile).
Material:   Coarse yellowish red clay fired black on interior and on parts of exterior, with frequent medium to very large spherical rounded and tabular white lime and black inclusions and rare voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/6 (yellowish red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Several joining frgts., nearly all of bottom, body, and neck, complete rim, both handles.
