| Decoration: | Undersurface and resting surface of foot reserved, lower half of body below handles black-glazed, reserved handle zone decorated with panel of multiple zigzag resting on three horizontal lines extending between handles and framed on either side by three vertical lines, a vertical row of six dots, three vertical lines, and finally a star in the triangular space between the panel and the handle, rim reserved with three lines running all around, interior body solidly black-glazed, interior rim reserved with two lines running all around at the juncture of body to rim, topped by groups of oblique bars, handles reserved with four lines running the length of the handle and two additional strokes at the root. Similar to Kerameikos 2156 (Coldstream, Greek Geometric Pottery, 1968, pl. 3b). | |
