Decoration: | Black glaze over all interior and exterior, reserved resting surface, red miltos band on pedestal of foot, incised Doric frieze in lower half of handle zone delineated by two grooves, finely incised knotted necklace in upper half of handle zone with leaves in added white, incised horizontal ladder below rim. Similar to C-46-108 (Corinth VII.3, p. 86, no. 494, pl. 39) and C-47-92 for necklace. Similar to C-47-356 (Corinth VII.3, p. 79, no. 396, pl. 39) and C-47-357 (Corinth VII.3, p. 79, no. 397, pl. 39) for Doric frieze. | |
