Description:   Trefoil mouth oinochoe with low flaring ring foot, flat resting surface, slightly convex undersurface, ovoid body, cylindrical neck, trefoil mouth with rounded lip; vertical strap handle attached to shoulder and rim.
Decoration:   Black glazed overall with reserved undersurface and resting surface of foot; two sets of three reserved lines just below and above the max. diam.; reserved window-panel on neck with two reserved lines above and below enclosing from bottom to top row of dots (28), two reserved lines and four zigzag lines with two reserved lines on either side of zigzag lines; the lower and upper zigzags touch the horizontal lines below and above; glaze continues just inside rim. Handle reserved on underside except for accidental drip of glaze, horizontal bars on top framed by continuous lines on sides. Decoration similar to Kerameikos 870 (Coldstream, Greek Geometric Pottery, pl. 3c).
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few very large angular spherical white lime, rare medium rounded tabular black and rare medium angular tabular sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow), Core: 5YR 7/8 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Several joining frgts., preserving whole vessel excluding several chips in the neck, shoulder and body. Glaze is well preserved, slight signs of wear.
