Description:   Pan with flat bottom with densely packed inclusions on undersurface, straight flaring walls to rounded lip. Small round vertical strap handle attached at top of lip. Similar to C-1981-126 (East of Theater, Early Roman), C-1985-29 (East of Theater, early 2nd c. AD), and C-1980-60 (East of Theater, 1st-2nd c. AD).
Material:   Medium coarse light brownish gray clay with rare fine-medium clear sparkling, rare small subrounded and angular tabular white and gray inclusions and rare small voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 6/2 (light brownish gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., preserving small part of base, body, rim and one handle. Non-joining frgts. of base in various contexts in Lot 2015-87. Traces of burning in places.
