Description:   Shallow basin. Large shallow ring base. Convex body to square and downturned outward thickened rim. Two horizontal handles attached at rim. FS 294
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and polished, one painted band around base, three parallel bands at shoulder, one band at rim continues over back of handle. Interior side of rim painted, one band at mid-body, ring around interior of base.
Material:   Fine clay with a smale amount of fine grit
Munsell Color:   Surface 10 YR 7.5/4 (very pale brown), Core 5 YR 7/5 (pink/reddish yellow), Paint 2.5 YR 3/4 (dark reddish brown) to 10 R 3/1 (dark reddish grey)
Condition:   Complete profile. Ca. 60 fragments preserve all of base, 80% of body, 3/4 of rim, 1handle (1 handle missing)
