Description:   Small pithos. Flat base, ovoid body; Max diameter is at 2/3 way up, then body turns in slightly. Vertical rim. No handles. Raised ridge just below rim with short oblique incised lines- sort of rope pattern. On either side this raised ridge loops up to form almost a handle.
Decoration:   Surface perhaps very slightly smoothed, Just below rim, ridge with incised lines in a rope pattern.
Material:   very coarse, gritty red-brown clay
Condition:   Complete profile. Mended from many sherds. Ca 45 % RIP. Complete except for patches of rim and body.
