Description:   Bowl with flat bottom, hemispherical body, very tall rim, rising vertically with slight convex curve, then flaring slightly to tapered lip, as if two rims carelessly superimposed.
Decoration:   Medallion: rosette, 2 framing rings; corolla: row of ferns; body: vine with clumps of grapes circling bowl. Guilloche at base of rim with fillet below. Glaze over all, fired brown-black to reddish brown on exterior, black in.
Material:   Fine pale pink clay with tiny voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly grayer than 7.5YR 8/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete profile, all medallion, ca. 1/4 body, 1/8 rim; glaze largely worn.`
