Description:   Vapheio cup. Flat base, lower body almost cylindrical, upper body is rounded and flaring, vertical tapered lip. One vertical handle attached at rim and 1/3 of way down body. Rim is slightly pressed inward where handle is attached. FS 224 type 3
Decoration:   Exterior is slipped and painted. One band at base, one band 1/3 of way up body, pair of bands belwo decorative zone at shoulder. Main zone has two parallel horizontal lines (FM 53 wavy line), on one side the wavy lines overlap to form a kind of chain. Rim is painted on interior and exterior.
Material:   Soft light orange clay

Condition:   Complete profile. 7 joining fragments, complete except 10% of base and 2 chips from rim
