Description:   Vapheio cup. Flat base, lower body cylindrical but flares slightly to ridge at mid-body, upper body flaring to tapered slightly outturned lip. One vertical handle attached at rim and above ridge. FS 224 type 2
Decoration:   Exterior is slipped and painted. One band at base, one band between base and ridge, one band at ridge below main zone. Main zone has a foliate band (FM 64, similar to MDP fig 50 no 4) consisting two slightly diagonal parallel lines with short vertical strokes on the top and bottom of pair. Rim painted inside and out. Handle has a candy stripe on top. Bottom of base has a large spiral. Interior is slipped.

Condition:   Complete profile. 3 joining fragments preserve 2/3 base, 1/3 body, 1/5 rim, 1 handle
