Description:   Spouted Bowl. Deep globular bowl with wide rim and mouth, horizontal channel and spout. Rim vertical and inward thickened. Buck Hesp. 1964 Shape B2
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and painted. Spout has two parallel bands beneath it that curve around it to rim band, 5 groups of three short strokes along the outermost band roughly vertical. On either side of spout is a large triangle with its apex pointing down, enclosing two parallel smaller triangles which form a sort of crosshatching at the apex (Buck Motif 38 - triangle enclosing narrow lines). Rim has a band and the top of rim is decorated with a series of short strokes which continue onto rim of spout.

Munsell Color:   Surface 7.5 YR 8/4 (reddish yellow), Core 10 YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
