Decoration: | Decoration in relief outlined with black paint. Red paint for eyes of volutes, central petal of lotus, horizontal band between lotus and palmette. Brown wash on side of volutes and base of palmette. | |
Material: | Hard-fired clay fired yellowish-buff near surface, pinkish at core with many large bits of reddish brown mudstone. Fine surface slip. | |
