Description:   Sima with fascia at base, H00.045, above which outset cyma reversa.
Decoration:   All surfaces well slipped. Soffit: broad band 00.03 m. wide of red-brown glaze. Face: fascia: maeander type IIA in light-on-dark, with red outline around checkerboard. Cyma: light-on-dark anthemion of which scroll beneath palmette, oval hear with red center, and bit of lowerst lt. petal preserved. On soffit behind border rasp-like tooling.
Material:   Buff clay, fired pale pink at core, with moderate admixture of fine to coarser (to 3mm) black inclusions. Fine slip.
Munsell Color:   Core: between 7.5YR 7/4 and 10YR 7/4, Slip 5Y 7.5/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving bottom of sima preserving soffit, base moulding, start of cyma face; broken above, either end.
