Description:   SIma with base moulding (prob. fascia), above which outset cyma reversa, above which projecting facsia, flat top surface 00.064 m. wide. Overlapping joint at lt., overlap 00.073 m. deep, ca. 00.03-00.035 m. thick.
Decoration:   Black band along top of base moulding. Cyma: reserved on matt purplish-black ground: anthemion with 9-petal palmette with ointed central leaf, round, drooping side petals, diamond-shaped heart with red center; 3-petal lotus with thin pointed red bud, calyx with two down-turned leaves; below, tendril making sharp angle beneath lotus. Fadcia either reserved or poss. black stripe along top, now ca. gone. Top and back slipped.
Material:   Yellow-buff coarse clay with dense admixture of fine to coarse (to 3 mm. black, few red mudstone inclusions. Fine slip. Fired with gray caste.
Munsell Color:   Slightly grayer than 2.5Y 7/4
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving profile from above base moulding and tile to top; broken at crowning moulding. Left joint preserved, right end broken.
