Description:   Oval-shaped buckle, solid cast, thickened and slightly pointed on one side; the opposite side tapers quickly to a thin shaft where the tongue would have been attached. Similar to Corinth XII, p. 270, no. 2176 (MF 8154), pl. 113 (4th-6th c. AD). As Hjohlman 2002, pp. 85, 183, no. 285 (post-destruction phase).
