Description:   Lamp, on exterior: tall cylindrical body with projecting fascia at bottom and top, undersurface of lamp bowl set 0.024 from bottom; broad flat rim, projecting on exterior as second fascia; on interior: shallow groove on rim, midway from outer edge; large fill hole; large semi-circular nozzle, with large wick hole cutting into half of rim, and outined by groove; nozzle supported by triglyph projecting in relief from body; flat glyphs and shallow grooves defining them.
Decoration:   Fasciae and triglyph black-glazed; reserved panel to either side of triglyph, probably with painted tails and wings of birds, facing away from glyph; top of rim reserved with thin lines; black on nozzle, and on interior.
Material:   Fine pale greenish clay with less than 1% fine voids.
Munsell Color:   5Y 7/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving complete profile except for floor; one nozzle and very small part of body to base. Burning on nozzle.
