Description:   Head of mule with widely flaring nostrils, forming heart-shaped projection at end of nose. Large, partly open mouth. Long, pointed ear, slightly hollowed inside. Low applied mane which ends in flap lying flat on forehead.
Material:   Light yellowish brown clay.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving head of mule, right ear broken off.
Period:   4th c. B.C.
Chronology:   slightly earlier than middle of 4th c., according to Corinth 15.2
