Description:   Lamp with flat bottom with slight base ring, deep convex body, flat rim with 2 circumference grooves, broad concave disk with central fill hole. Small air hole at base of short nozzle with large wick hole. Vertical lug handle with start of pierced hole, 2 petals in low relief at base of handle. Note: two halves of mould slightly off at handle.
Decoration:   Rim plain except for vestiges of group of circles or spirals on both sides at rt. angle to main axis. Rim: 21-petal rosette. Possible thin red glazeover all.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed in mould on bottom: SW Sigma Omega Soteria workshop
Material:   Fine red clay with common amount of fine white, inclusions, voids
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 5/7
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact; burning on nozzle, rim.
