Description:   Lamp with flat bottom, deep convex body, broad rim rising slightly to shallow concave disk with raised framing ring, groove, central fill hole; air hole at base of nozzle, which is U-shaped, large wick hole. Solid lug handle, back partly smeared in mould.
Decoration:   Bottom: groove around bottom; rim: plain except for small impressed circle by nozzle, groove setting off nozzle from rim, disk: quatrefoil with petals alternating with T-shaped lines. 2 grooves on handle to base; thin glaze over all.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on bottom in Greek: CT. (O) ?
Material:   Hard-fired dark red-brown clay with streak of black at core, fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 4/4 clay; 5YR 4/3 glaze
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., left half of lamp. Burning on nozzle.
