Description:   Part of handle attachment, consisting of a strap handle with two grooves down back, to which attached shield of palmette over two scrolls. Of palmette have only base of petals.
Decoration:   Dull black glaze over all.
Material:   Fine gray clay with rare fine white inclusions.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving lower half of handle shield.
