Description:   Terracotta solid mouldmade female with large high helmet-like headdress with central point curving forward from back of neck and side points just behind ear curving down and out from central high point and high peaked rim over forehead framing hair and continuing along neck, hair pulled back framing face in crescent shape, waves marked by lines, oblong face, small eyes, long straight nose, and long wide neck. May join with MF-10696. Similar to MF-685 (Corinth XII p. 35 no. 148 pl. 10).
Material:   Fine pink clay with a gray core with few fine sparkling, few small tabular angular white, rare large spherical subrounded black, few medium tabular angular orange, and few medium-large spherical angular quartz inclusions and few medium-large tabular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/4 (pink) and 7.5YR 7/1 (light gray), Core: 7.5YR 5/1 (gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece broken at neck preserving headress, head and neck. Chip on tip of headdress. Large piece missing from back and lt side of head. Heavily worn. Discolored. Traces of white slip.
