Description:   Terracotta solid handmade flutist from group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Flutist has thick flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, additional clay strip across face tilting up to lt and covering part of upper angle of clay strip in shape of inverted V of double flute, long neck, broad shoulders with attached round strips of arms extending forward with rounded hands, rt hand curls over bottom of rt flute, lt hand attached at side of lt flute, body kidney shaped in section, and slight depression on back. Similar to KT2-5 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving flutist from head to chest. Traces of white slip.
