Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Dancer has wide thick strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, small semi-circular face, broad short neck, flattened chest, rt arm rectangular and lt circular in section, cylindrical body leaning to rt and tapering towards feet before flaring and attaching to base with an additional strip of clay around feet. Flat circular base with roughly pared edge and kidney shaped depression measuring 0.012 by 0.008 near center which is not the flutist since there is already a depression for that figure. Similar to KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with light gray core with few fine sparkling, few small to very large spherical angular gray inclusions and rare large spherical rounded and rare medium to large platy angular voids

Condition:   Fragment. Three pieces preserving one dancer from head to base with no arms, depressions for a dancer and flutist and quarter of base. Traces of white slip.
