Description:   Bronze strainer with bowl-shaped body with flanged horizontal rim and vertical lip. Vessel body gently narrows to strainer collar, at which point walls narrow at 45 degree angle to form shallow bottom to meet oblong funnel spout (L. 0.097, Diam. 0.014-0.016) on underside of vessel. Strainer insert fits inside vessel body and rests on internal collar 0.05 below lip of vessel.
Material:   Bronze.
Condition:   Complete profile. Three non-joining parts, preserving body, circular perforated insert, and spout, broken off from underside of body. Numerous holes throughout vessel. Bronze badly corroded on interior and exterior.
Period:   Frankish (1210-1458 AD)
