Description: | One-handled wide shallow saucepan with false base consisting of flat bottom, vertical sides, body curves down, then out and up with vertical profile to narrow outturned rim. Handle hollow with seam running length of anterior surface. Handle has nail holes, with corresponding nail holes in vessel body. Posterior side of handle attachment narrows to point and ends touching false base on underside of vessel body. Similar to MF-223 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 543). | |
