Description: | Spearhead with long socket (L. 0.10) with iron ring around its base, leaf-shaped blade with rounded shoulders, midrib running from bottom to tip of blade. Socket forged and not cast. Condition: | Complete or intact. Intact. Slit down center of one side of socket seems to have been original and not break, with iron ring around base of socket used to fasten and secure wooden shaft in place. Wooden shaft preserved inside hollow socket. Corroded. | |
