Above his head is a disk with projecting rays in thick paint. Of his team there remain the head, neck, and wing of one horse, the muzzle and a little of the neck of the other. This is a biga. In the lower part of the composition, wave formation. Line for border of composition. Dilute glaze: drawing. Matte reddish brown: cloak. White (yellowish): rays; contours of waves; horses. Wash on waves.
